October is “Subaru Loves Pets” Month – Adopt A Pet Today

San Bernardino County says It’s time to Clear the Shelters

San Bernardino County has kicked off the tenth annual Clear the Shelters event, a nationwide pet adoption campaign running through August in partnership with NBCUniversal Local.

All month long the Big Bear and Devore animal shelters are offering free pet adoptions in an effort to help shelter pets find loving, permanent homes. Each qualifying adoption includes spaying or neutering, a microchip, and age-appropriate vaccinations.

According to the County, the campaign helped 185 animals last year.

The Animals aRe First Fund (ARFF) is sponsoring the pet adoption fees for dogs and cats adopted during the monthlong campaign.

Visit ClearTheShelters.com for more information on how you can participate and open your heart to adoption.
