CSUSB named Equity Champion for supporting Black and Latinx students

The Campaign for College Opportunity, Cal State San Bernardino was recognized during a Nov. 16 virtual awards ceremony for its work with Transfer Students and was named  2021 Equity Champion Higher Education for Excellence.

Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) at CSUSB was recognized for its work in supporting and increasing Black and Latinx students through the Transfer process.

“On behalf of California State University, San Bernardino, I am deeply appreciative of the honor of being recognized as one of the 2021 Equity Champions for Higher Education,” CSUSB Tomás D. Morales said during the event, noting that the university has been working hard to increase ADT enrollments and ensuring the academic success of transfer students. “Here at CSUSB we say that ‘We Define the Future.’ Please know that we do not intend to rest on our laurels. Today’s results only serve as the foundation for tomorrow’s achievements.”
