San Bernardino Museum to hold free Earthquake and Emergency Preparedness Fair

From earthquakes to wildfires, natural disasters are a part of California life and being prepared for those disasters is important.

This coming Saturday, October 23rd, the San Bernardino County Museum will be holding an Earthquake and Emergency Preparedness Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The free event offers residents the opportunity to learn how to prepare themselves, their families, their homes, and their neighborhoods for wildfires, earthquakes, and other disasters. The day will also feature hands-on preparedness demonstrations, expert speakers, resources, and emergency supplies at partner booths.

The event takes place outdoors in the Museum’s parking lot and is free to all attendees. Museum galleries will be open during the event and regular admission applies. The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.

Onsite participants include: the San Bernardino County Office of Emergency Services, San Bernardino County Fire Department, San Bernardino County Aging and Adult Services, San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health, San Bernardino County Library, Simpler Life Emergency Prep Store, and others.

The San Bernardino County Museum is located at 2024 Orange Tree Lane in Redlands.
