San Bernardino PD now hiring

The San Bernardino Police Department (SBPD) is now hiring.

A video just launched on their website touts the very active role the SBPD plays in the city and tries to tempt new recruits with the promise that they will always be busy and will go to a wide variety of service calls.

The quality of the SWAT team is also recognized as an opportunity within the department for career growth.

A department representative in the video says. “This community has a need for dedicated officers.  You can come to this community and actually make a difference.”

“We made this video to showcase our personnel and recruit those willing to work hard to give back to the citizens of San Bernardino,” said Sargent John Echevarria, SBPD Community Affairs Division. “The video has far surpassed our expectations and has extended our recruitment reach without ever having to leave the City.”

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, at least 20 1/2 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

For more information or to begin the process contact SBPD Personnel & Training Team at (909) 384-5722 or (909) 384-5695 or visit, https://www.joinsbpd.org/.
