San Manuel Golf Tournament raises $400k for Non-Profits

Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel, in partnership with the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, celebrated their annual golf tournament; the largest ever, bringing together over 1,200 participants last month.

Tribal leaders, vendors, and community partners participated in the annual golf tournament to raise more than $400,000. Eight inspiring local and national non-profits received $50,000 each to provide support through health services, environmental conservation and cultural development for tribal communities.

“I continue to be in awe of the thoughtfulness and generosity of our sponsors and partners to continue San Manuel’s mission of supporting organizations that are truly the boots on the ground for making our world a better place,” said Secretary Audrey Martinez.

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has donated over $300 million to charitable organizations nationally and locally over the last 20 years. For more information see San Manuel Care’s Program.
