San Bernardino Animal Shelter to provide “Thanksgiving for the Animals”

The City of San Bernardino Animal Services will be holding its fourth annual “Thanksgiving for the Animals” event Wednesday, November 26 at its Animal Shelter located at 333 Chandler Place in San Bernardino from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Feeding will begin at 8:30 am.

Approximately 80 volunteers will be preparing and serving a special hot Thanksgiving-themed meal for the dogs currently housed at the shelter. The meal includes ground turkey, rice, vegetables, and doggie dessert treats.

Following the morning event, the shelter will hold a free adoption event for all dogs and cats from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Shelter will also be collecting small blankets and during the event to support the animals in care.
