Home Run for Health returns to San Manuel Stadium August 25

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, public health agencies in Riverside and San Bernardino counties are teaming up once again and inviting Inland Empire residents to hit a “Home Run for Health” on August 25 when the Inland Empire 66ers battle the Lake Elsinore Storm at San Manuel Stadium, located at 280 South E Street in San Bernardino.

The theme for 2022 is “We’re Here for Your Health.”

“We are looking forward to seeing fans at the ballpark. We’d love to have them visit with our staff in the concourse area throughout the game, where we will be sharing our information about the many public health resources available to the residents of Riverside and San Bernardino counties,” said Kim Saruwatari, director of Riverside University Health System—Public Health (RUHS PH).

San Bernardino County Department of Public Health and RUHS Public Health look to share positive health messages with fans as they enjoy the evening watching the baseball game among family, friends and co-workers.

Fans may secure vouchers while supplies last for FREE admission to the August 25 game. One voucher can be redeemed for two tickets and families are limited to three vouchers, for six tickets total. Due to increased game attendance, it is recommended that residents redeem vouchers at will call at San Manuel Stadium prior to game day.

Parking is $10 per vehicle.

“Public health has always emphasized the importance of collaboration amongst partners to provide services and resources to our community. The best thing about this event will be all the health information that will be made available to fans from both San Bernardino and Riverside counties,” said Josh Dugas, San Bernardino County Public Health Director.
