Luxivair SBD celebrates 10 year anniversary at San Bernardino Airport

Luxivair SBD celebrated its 10th anniversary last month with an elegant party held at the FBO’s world-class terminal at San Bernardino International Airport (SBD). The event brought together valued customers, staff, and partners to commemorate the milestone and celebrate Luxivair SBD’s countless achievements throughout the past decade.

Annual performance trends confirm that Luxivair SBD has become the FBO of choice for an increasing number of businesses. In 2022, corporate aircraft activity soared to new heights, reaching an all-time high of 9,414 flights. This represents a 15 percent increase from 2021 and an impressive five-year growth rate of 94 percent.

“Luxivair SBD is the easiest way to enter Southern California, a region known for its notoriously busy airspace,” says Mark Gibbs, the Director of Aviation at SBD. “The FBO’s ideal location has certainly been a factor fueling its growth. More importantly is our commitment to continuously improving our facilities and technologies to ensure superior service, maximum convenience, and minimum downtime.”

In recent years, the FBO has significantly increased its staffing, expanded its fuel farm, and made investments to reduce its carbon footprint, including alternative-fueled ground support equipment, as well as zero-emission and luxury sedans for its rental fleet.

“Our 10th-anniversary party was truly a celebration of everything we’ve built together — a decade of excellence and service on the ground and in the air,” says Wendy McConaughey, the FBO’s manager. “We invite anyone planning air travel in Southern California to consider Luxivair SBD, where they will discover an uncrowded travel experience, unparalleled elegance, and a highly attentive staff.”
