Cal State San Bernardino’s Center for Cyber & Artificial Intelligence, formerly known as the Cybersecurity Center, will host its annual open house on Friday, Oct. 25, from 6-8 p.m. Open to the public, it will begin in room JB-102 at the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration (JHBC).
The open house is an opportunity for students, families, faculty, counselors and community members to explore the various academic and career opportunities in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Attendees will learn about the many benefits that these fast-growing fields can offer, including scholarships, apprenticeships, workforce development, research opportunities, and career readiness programs.
The evening will begin with an expo, where guests will hear from key university leaders, including Tomas Gomez-Arias, dean of JHBC, and Conrad Shayo, chair of the Department of Information & Decision Sciences. Following the presentations, attendees will have the chance to explore various interactive exhibits throughout the halls, engage with campus STEM clubs, meet representatives from on-campus programs and local companies, and enjoy live demonstrations showcasing the exciting work being done in cybersecurity and AI.
The open house is an opportunity for the community and prospective students to get a closer look at CSUSB’s cutting-edge Center for Cyber & AI, learn about degrees and programs, and see firsthand how the university is preparing the next generation of professionals in these fields.
