Melody Health, a branch of Planned Parenthood that offers primary care, will close their location in San Bernardino following the removal of federal funding for the nonprofit, the organization recently announced.
The last day of operations for the clinic will be December 10.
A statement on their website reads:
“We regret to inform you that due to recent federal government funding cuts, Melody Health will be closing. Our final day of patient care for primary care services will be December 10, 2025.
If you have any ongoing medical concerns or need prescription refills, we encourage you to schedule a final appointment with your usual provider before then. After December 10, Melody Health will no longer be able to provide primary care or refill prescriptions for primary care patients.”
The Planned Parenthood health center in San Bernardino will remain open for reproductive care services such as gynecological exams, screenings for breast and cervical cancer, Pap smears to detect cell changes in a cervix, birth control, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, urinary tract infection testing and treatment and abortion care.
