University Parkway at Interstate 215 in San Bernardino will be shut down for 55 hours for a reconfiguration of the parkway.
Work is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Feb. 27 and end 4 a.m. March 2, according a statement on San Bernardino’s website.
Businesses will be accessible along Hallmark Parkway. The work will be done by the San Bernardino California Transportation Authority.
University Parkway will be converted into a diverging diamond interchange, which improves traffic flow by shifting traffic momentarily to one side of the road, making it easier too turn onto a freeway.
Construction on the $25.7 million project began in November of 2024. It is being paid for with local, state, and federal funding, according to the statement.
