San Bernardino International Airport recently announced the opening of their new FlyBaby Infant Care Suites. The new suites provide a comfortable, private, and secure space for nursing mothers traveling through the airport.
Located in the gate area after the security check point, the FlyBaby Infant Care Suites offer a quiet, private environment that includes a lockable door, reclining chair with side table and electrical outlets, a sink and mirror, and baby changing table. The Flybaby rooms are accessible through the Mamava app and available for download to mobile devices.
“Traveling with young children can be challenging, and access to a safe, private care space can be very helpful for families on the go,” said Mark Gibbs, Director of Aviation in a statement. “By introducing FlyBaby Infant Care Suites, we are making it easier for parents to care for their children while moving through the airport.”
The FlyBaby Infant Care Suites are ADA-compliant and specifically designed for breastfeeding and pumping mothers. The “Mamava – Breastfeed on the Go App” provides a smartphone-enabled autonomous entry option, enhancing both security and ease of use.
The Flybaby Infant Care Suites are available at no cost to nursing mothers while waiting for their flights. Travelers can locate and unlock the suites using the Mamava app, which also helps users find thousands of lactation spaces worldwide.
