San Bernardino Airport marks four years of passenger service

San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) is celebrating four years of commercial passenger service, marking a milestone that reflects the airport’s steady growth and its role as a convenient, affordable travel option for Southern California residents.

Over the past four years, SBD has welcomed more than 200,000 passengers as travelers continue to choose a simpler, less stressful way to fly. The growth highlights the airport’s increasing visibility throughout the Inland Empire and its momentum as a regional aviation gateway.

Breeze Airways has been instrumental in that success, offering nonstop service to San Francisco (SFO) and Provo, Utah (PVU), providing Inland Empire travelers with convenient options for both business and leisure travel.

“When we welcomed our first commercial passengers four years ago, our goal was simple: make flying easier, more affordable and more welcoming for this community,” said Penny Lilburn, President of the San Bernardino International Airport Authority and Mayor of the City of Highland. “This record growth shows travelers are responding.
