San Bernardino City Unified hosting TK Enrollment Fair Mar. 19

The San Bernardino City Unified School District is hosting a 2022-2023 Transitional Kindergarten Open Enrollment Fair to enroll the Class of 2035.

The Open Enrollment Fair will be available on March 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Jones Elementary School for students who will start TK this upcoming school year. TK is available for students who will turn 5 years old from September 2, 2022, to February 2, 2023.

Requirements to participate in the open enrollment fair include:

• Birth verification (birth certificate, hospital certificate, baptism certificate)
• Immunization records (yellow card or copies)
• Address verification (utility bill or lease/rental agreement)
• Parent/guardian identification

Offered at more than 25 SBCUSD elementary schools, transitional kindergarten is a free program that helps prepare students for kindergarten by teaching appropriate social and academic skills and giving students the opportunity to build the fundamental skills necessary as they continue their education.
