San Bernardino Police Department Citizens Academy starts Jan. 22

The San Bernardino Police Department is looking for interested individuals to join the Citizens Academy.
The 2025 Citizens Academy, which runs twice a year, is an 8-week program where attendees learn about the various services provided by the Department, speak with personnel who share their duties with the group, and participate in a facility tour.
Meetings are held every Wednesday beginning January 22nd and runs through March 12th, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Attendees will hear presentations from Dispatch, Forensics, SWAT, Traffic, Narcotics, and the K-9 Unit.
The program is free to participate, however there are only 20 spots available. For questions or to register, please contact Officer Tina Martinez at martinez_ti@sbcity.org. The Citizen’s Academy does not require any physical training.
The San Bernardino Police Department strongly values its community partnerships, and recognize that people make the difference in any organization.
