The San Bernardino Police Department is looking for interested individuals to join the Citizens Academy.
The 2025 Citizens Academy, which runs twice a year, is an 8-week program where attendees learn about the various services provided by the Department, speak with personnel who share their duties with the group, and participate in a facility tour.
Meetings are held every Wednesday beginning January 22nd and runs through March 12th, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Attendees will hear presentations from Dispatch, Forensics, SWAT, Traffic, Narcotics, and the K-9 Unit.
The program is free to participate, however there are only 20 spots available. For questions or to register, please contact Officer Tina Martinez at [email protected]. The Citizen’s Academy does not require any physical training.
