Cal State San Bernardino’s online program has been ranked among the best in the United States by U.S. News & World Report.
The school ranked 46th for its online graduate criminal justice curriculum and 135th for its online MBA program, according to a statement on the school’s website.
The criminal justice program also ranked fourth among California universities, behind UC Irvine, the University of San Diego and Cal State Long Beach.
“I am deeply proud that our online criminal justice master’s program continues to be recognized among the nation’s best,” said Christina Hassija, dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, where the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice is located. “This prestigious accolade not only underscores the quality of our program, it reflects the dedication, expertise, and passion of our criminal justice faculty.”
U.S. News & World Report has been evaluating online education programs for the past 12 years. Schools often use its ranking to help attract students, and as a fundraising tool.
