The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Cal State San Bernardino, housed within Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration (JHBC), has achieved reaccreditation from the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).
NASPAA accreditation is a distinguished mark of excellence, indicating that CSUSB’s MPA program has successfully undergone a rigorous peer review process. This process ensures compliance with NASPAA’s comprehensive accreditation standards, which cover curriculum quality, faculty expertise, student learning outcomes, and institutional commitment to continuous improvement.
“Less than 200 institutions worldwide are accredited by NASPAA, and their emphasis on public service values perfectly aligns with the ethos of the faculty, staff, and students at the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration,” said Tomas Gomez-Arias, dean of JHBC.
Reaccreditation highlights the MPA program’s capacity to prepare future leaders in public service and administration. It ensures that graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and ethical framework needed to address complex challenges in the public sector. This environment prepares students to tackle the most pressing issues facing society today.
