CAPS Expanded Learning is Enrolling for 2022-23 School Year

Summer is almost at an end. Kids in the San Bernardino City Unified School District will return to school on Monday, August 1, 2022. The first day is a minimum day and the schedule is as follows:

Elementary Schools: 8:50 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Middle Schools: 7:40 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.
High Schools: 7:30 a.m. – 12:35 p.m.*
*San Andreas and Sierra dismissal is depended on session students attend.

What also starts on August 1st is the CAPS Expanded Learning Program. CAPS is the before and after school program available to all district students, Kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Program includes a daily snack, homework time, and academic/recreational/enrichment activities. Only enrolled students can take advantage of the before- and after-school programs at every SBCUSD school, providing supervised fun and learning until 6 p.m. every day.
