The San Bernardino Public Libraries will return to normal hours on June 7 which coincides with the kick off of the annual Summer Reading Program.
This year’s summer reading theme is “Reading Colors Your World!” Children, teens, and adults are all able to participate to win prizes in the event that runs through Aug. 2.
The Summer Reading Program will be virtual again this year and hosted by the Beanstack platform. Children, teens, and adults will earn online badges by keeping track of minutes spent reading. Each badge earned will provide an entry into the prize drawing at the end of the program. Teens and adults are also able to write online reviews of the books to earn extra prize entries.
In order to participate, register for an account at sbpl.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app.
