The San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra will present their annual evening of holiday music on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. Entitled “A Christmas Festival,” this performance will be held at the historic California Theatre of the Performing Arts in downtown San Bernardino.
Under the baton of Maestro Anthony Parnther, the concert will include a number of holiday favorites, including Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride,” Randol Bass’s “The Night Before Christmas,” Darin Kelly’s “Of Nights and Lights,” Vincent Oppido’s “Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus,” Albert Hague’s “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” and, from Home Alone, John William’s “Somewhere In My Memory.”
The 44-member Loma Linda Academy Pro Musica Choir directed by Kristian Leukert will accompany the Orchestra, and the audience will also take center stage in John Finnegan’s “Christmas Singalong.”
Attendees are encouraged to dress in their holiday best – with nods to both black tie and ugly sweaters.
