Cal State San Bernardino receives $10 million for new medical program

New health clinic opens in San Bernardino

St. John’s Community Health opened a new clinic in San Bernardino last week, which will offer comprehensive medical care, dental care, behavioral health services, and a pharmacy.

Located at 500 N. Waterman Ave, the facility is expected to serve between 30,000-40,000 patients annually once it is fully up and running.

“Access to comprehensive health care is a basic human right – and we are dedicated to helping ensure people in the Inland Empire have that right respected,” said Jim Mangia, president and CEO of St. John’s Community Health. “Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity – including undocumented folks, unhoused people, and those on low or fixed incomes.”

St. John’s Community Health is a network of public health clinics in South, Central, and East Los Angeles and serves more than 120,000 patients.
