San Bernardino County Firefighters were called to battle a three-alarm fire at the shuttered Carousel Mall Sunday morning.
The fire was first reported around 8:55 a.m. Crews arrived on-scene to find fire and smoke showing from the Eastern portion of the mall.
Interior crews found a well established fire on the 2nd floor with an immediate exposure to other areas of the mall. Less than an hour later the fire was put out and crews completed a search of the area for any possible victims.
One firefighter was treated on scene for a minor burn injury.
San Bernardino County Fire responded with 11 Engines, 4 Trucks, 4 Chief Officers, an Air/Light Unit, & two Fire Investigators. Colton and Rialto Fire assisted.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
