San Bernardino offers dog license amnesty program

The San Bernardino Department of Animal Services has begun a new program for residents that need to get their four-legged, furry friends licensed.

From now until August 31, 2021, residents can purchase a dog license without any penalty fees. That includes expired licenses and residents who have never licensed their dog before.

A San Bernardino City pet license can provide your dog safe passage home if it becomes lost or if it is injured, its license enables others to notify you more quickly.

All dogs over four months of age within city limits must have a valid license. Residents can fill out a  license application and mail it with a current rabies vaccination certificate.
