The smell of fresh cut grass, the crack of the bat, the pop of the ball hitting the glove, these are the sights and sounds of baseball memories and they are coming back to life soon in San Bernardino.
On May 4 the Inland Empire 66er’s (the home team) will take on the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes at San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino.
The stadium seats 5,000 not including the lawn and other hospitality areas like the suites or group entertainment patios and bar space. As of this writing the State of California Guidelines allow for up to 20% capacity so a little more than 1,000 fans could be in attendance.
Tickets are significantly lower than major league ballparks with prices as low as $21 for a single game in a primary seating area.
Special promotions are also available that package prime games along with specific giveaways. The bobblehead plan gives you six game tickets and includes bobblehead giveaways and other perks for less than $200.
“We are putting a new plan together that will go as low as $15 a month….The Angels are doing tickets as low as $9 during the week and we are going to try to keep with that type of plan,” said Daniel Vazquez, Assistant General Manager. ”We are putting together family affordable ticket packages and bringing baseball home to the Inland Empire.”
