New Restaurant Celebrates Grand Opening in San Bernardino

Sushi Miguel?

It is a Sushi restaurant with a Latin surname, the sushi with a Latin twist, as well as straight up Japanese faire is now being served at a tidy new space in San Bernardino at 2999 Kendall Drive.

Sushi Miguel’s Style is owned by the husband and wife team of Miguel and Anabel Aguirre where Miguel is the head chef and visionary behind the food at the restaurant.  Miguel Aguirre started as a dishwasher at Sayaka’s in Colton where he gradually moved up through the kitchen eventually becoming a sushi-chef.

At the sushi bar Aguirre developed a following of regulars who liked his tasty and creative food.

After 25 years at Sayaka’s Miguel felt it was time to move on and create a Sushi restaurant with a Latin twist.   Sushi Miguel has multiple locations including Colton, Fontana, Highland, Moreno Valley and San Bernardino.

The menu has an a la carte section and there is also an all-u-can-eat option with slightly different prices for lunch and dinner.
