Lucy’s Mexican Restaurant, Decades of Great Food

If you are a native of San Bernardino, family-owned and operated Lucy’s Mexican Restaurant on Sierra Way above 40th Street should be on your list of regulars.  Our family has been patronizing this wonderful Mexican eatery since I was a child.

Lucy’s offers great traditional Mexican food that hasn’t changed much in 50 years, nor has the spicy salsa they have always offered!  The #1 Combination Enchilada, Relleno, Taco and Tostada is still the identical plate full of wonderful food that it was when my family first visited the establishment in 1975.

With thirty different combination plates, there are great choices for every member of your party or you can enjoy their A La Carte Burritos, Tacos and Enchiladas if are limiting your carbohydrate intake.

This week we tasted the Shredded Beef Tostada with home- made beans, and fresh lettuce and tomato.  As usual, it did not disappoint and the service remains warm, friendly and punctual even during the recent lunch rush.

Lucy’s is now open again for indoor dining, with all of the current safety guidelines.

  1. We have been regular customers since the early 1970’s have never had a bad meal or service. I personally love their chilly Verde. I like everything BUT just saying!
