Albertsons Companies joins Nourishing Neighbors campaign

During the month of September, Albertsons Companies Foundation is partnering with Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino (FARSB) to for the annual Nourishing Neighbors campaign. The goal of the campaign is ensure every child has access to a healthy breakfast.

Any donations given through Vons, Albertsons, and Pavilions stores in the San Bernardino and Riverside area will be used to help develop, expand and sustain the FARSB programs.

“Young minds and bodies need a healthy breakfast to kick off their day,” said Stephanie Otero, Chief Executive Officer at FARSB. “Eating breakfast improves alertness, concentration, mental performance and mood. We’re thrilled to have been selected as the charity partner for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties Albertsons Companies locations and are grateful to Albertsons Companies Foundation’s Nourishing Neighbors initiative for their ongoing commitment to fighting hunger in our communities,” said Otero.

Any members of the community wanting to help support FARSB with this program, can go to Albertsons Companies’ locations in San Bernardino and Riverside from September 1-30 to make a donation.
